2014 Fighting Patriots

This 2013-2014 school year for Sandy Creek High School was filled with more excitement, challenges, and rediscovery for the students as well as the teachers. In terms of sports, many of the teams had to endure a rude awakening that not everything comes as easy as they had to fight harder this past season than any other season in the schools history. The losses that the teams suffered reopened their eyes to see that nothing comes for free, and you have to work for what you want. This lesson was needed for the teams in order for them to lock down on a single goal for next year: to win state.With the areas being rearranged and making the upcoming season harder than it has ever been for the sports teams, there is a definite need of discipline and aggressiveness this upcoming season. The proudest moment for Sandy Creek this year is our amazing teacher Mrs. Vlachakis winning teacher of the year in Fayette County. Without her class, many students,including myself, would not know how to properly use computers and computer technology. This is extremely important as we are moving towards a more technology orientated world. Go Patriots!
